Phoenix Fitness & Martial Arts FAQs

1. What programs do you offer?

We have both youth & adult classes in Strength Training, Boxing & Jiu Jitsu . We also have adult Muay Thai/Kickboxing.

2. Do you offer group classes or personal training?

Yes, we offer both.

3. How many people are in each class?

Our small group classes range from 12-18 people depending on the program.

4. What happens during my first training session?

Your first training session will be a one on one lesson. Your coach will go through the basics of your program and answer any questions you have.

5. Can I do a free trial class?

For the safety of our members & coaches, we do not offer free trial classes. You will get a feel of the class structure during your beginner lessons.

6. Do I have to do both strength training and martial arts?

Lots of people do one style of training, some do multiple.

7. What are the ages for your youth programs?

Our martial arts classes are appropriate for kids 8-16 while our strength classes are appropriate for 12-17.

8. Do I have to spar others to learn martial arts?

Sparring is a great way to understand what you are doing well and what you need to work on. Sparring is NOT required but it is encouraged as you continue to learn. Sparring in class is never full contact and you can always talk with your coach about your comfortability level.

9. Is there a different membership option if I'm only doing one program?

Our memberships allow you to attend as many classes as you are able.

10. Do you offer any discounts?

We do not discount our memberships due to our limited class capacity.
